Geocache Description:

Ashley Green Walkabout is a series of thirteen caches along a walk, about 4.6 miles long, which starts in the Buckinghamshire village of Ashley Green, crosses into Hertfordshire near Berkhamsted, and then re-crosses back into Buckinghamshire to finish. The terrain is hilly, but the footpaths are well defined and navigation is easy. Good parking is available in Ashley Green (see additional waypoint on cache 1) and cachers may be pleased to learn that there is a nice village pub awaiting them at the end of the trail.

Nip into the cow field (and hope they are up the other end) through the gate and search for this cache. The cedar trees here are ancient and blasted, and yet despite the noise from the A41, this is an atmospheric spot; maybe that's down to the cows too? Once you have found the cache, continue back through the gate to your original footpath.
