It's time to give back to the area, geocachers! It's been several years since we've held a CITO, so let's give back to the smaller areas and do it as part of Cache In Trash Out weekend!
Geocachers have long been known for being mindful to the enviornment, and a CITO event is a great way to give back.
This CITO event will be at Smith Pond in Delhi. This is a wonderful little area and a hidden gem. There are some nice trails, a couple of "levels" to explore and, yes, a few geocaches. But this poor park also gets hit sometimes by students from the local college and area people who trash it a little too much. So, let's give it a good shining.
This event will be held rain or shine, but let's hope for shine!
This property is owned by the local high school, which will be donating bags, gloves and the such for the event.
Let's give back, people!
Oh, and I'll probably have a few prizes to give away and will also be placing a few new caches. So that should get you interested!

Time: 10 a.m. - Noonish. (if we need a little more time, we can take it!)
What to bring? Yourself. And bring a lunch or something if you'd like to chomp on it after the event. Then spend the day caching away! I'm going to try and get some donated drinks and such for people to have while cleaning things up.
This event is part of the 11th annual CITO weekend. Those attending these events during the weekend of April 20-21 will receive a souvenir on their geocaching.com profile.
