Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in a interesting spot with lots of local history. It isn't a hard find and please don't disturb the local residents when searching for this cache. Please re hide as well or better than found. Access from side road for safety.

This cache is a by-product of a Fray girls event held a short time ago... Start of hurricane season. This hide is placed with that in mind and is located just off the main hurricane evacuation route for the Topsail/Sneads Ferry area and is very near what is this area's shelter for evacuees just up the road. Hopefully it won't have to be used for that purpose this year or in the near future.
Your looking for a small ammo can that is filled with small survival items.... flashlight , sm. swiss army knife , can opener... etc. You may stick with that type of theme if you care to. There is a Where's George bill in with the log for FTF to take if they like.
When logging your find if you would like to leave any short stories or pics of your experiences riding out a storm or helpful hand that you lent to another who did please leave it for others to read or see and , as always , Happy Hunting and be safe this hurricane season , where ever you live , cause you can't hide from Mother Nature.
