Originally hidden by JuneNY, and adopted to Luckless in May of 2013. This cache can be accessed through a very old cemetery that is no longer being maintained. The cemetery is in Gilbertsville, New York. The terrain is very rough. Take your time and be careful. The easiest way to access this cemetery is through the entrance, which is up some cement steps. If you access it from Route 51, it will be much more difficult.
You will have to get off of the main route (51) on a road very close to the center of this very small town.
The CEMETERIES OF OTSEGO COUNTY map lists this as OLD CHURCHYARD CEMETERY. If you come to a modern cemetery, you have gone too far.
Please look for this cache during daylight hours and treat the area with respect.
This cache is not hidden in the cemetery itself, but is accessed through the cemetery. It is hidden in the wooded area that surrounds the cemetery.
There are some Revolutionary War soldiers buried in this cemetery.
