The Cache has been relocated slightly to
avoid problems on the slippery slope in the winter. Refinds
are welcome.
We ventured out to Bedfords Heritage Trail in order to check out
the location for possibly hiding a new cache here. We were
surprised to find such a nice trail with an overlook to the river,
picnic area, and a view of the railroad bridge crossing the river
that I have only seen while driving on the highway in Manchester.
We have been wondering for a long time why there hasn't been a
cache here so we finally decided to go out and place one along this
trail.
On the way to the cache there are two information signs, one
describing The Glacial Lake Merrimack and the other describing why
the railroad crosses the river. This is a short walk from the
parking area to the cache. Parking is on Moores Crossing Road off
of Daniel Webster Highway.
