How Geocaching Works
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, they are for parking only !!
Since there are not any puzzle cache’s within about 70 miles of the Quad Cities, I thought I would put one out there. This cache is located somewhere in Scott County Park. You will need to solve the puzzle below to determine the actual coordinates for the cache.
I am going to assume everyone has a printer, or access to one, if not we can work something out. To find the cache solve the puzzle below, then assign each column(columns will run top to bottom) with a letter (A-O) and each row(rows will run right to left) with a number (1-15) Then using the clues below substitute the combination of letters and numbers for a letter in the puzzle. The cache itself will not be hard to find, the only challenge will be solving the puzzle.You will be looking for a standard smaller ammo box. You should prepare for a 1/2 mile round trip. The terrain will be easy and its not far from the trail.
