Geocache Description:

Beautiful views of the obvious landmark to the east.

Cache is in a blue topped clear Tupperware type container, and is wrapped in a bright blue grocery store bag. It is hidden on the downhill side of a large fallen tree, tucked up tightly against the old log. There is some old bark stacked around it for protection from the elements.

This spot will take a bit of uphill walking, but the reward is the view from the top. Be careful of the road in, the roads on maps may not be accurate. Drive on the most heavily used and obvious road. In good weather, 4WD is not necessary, but high clearance is very desirable.

The cache contains goodies which include: Pocket calendars, homemade alcohol stove, effegy of Mtn. Lemming, toy binoculars and other stuff.

A jar containing a log book for making it to this spot was placed nearby in 1992. It is about 300 ft. at 350 degrees magnetic from the cache. Sign in there also.
