The second cache located at the City Gates.
This cache is not abandoned. :)
This is the second of 3 planned caches to be located at the major entrances to the ACT. It is an ideal cache to deposit travel bugs on their way into and out of the territory.
This cache is located right behind a border marker near a major road out of the territory. Be aware that the road here is a busy one, with a lot of traffic. I really would not reccomend that you walk across this road if you have children with you, and definetly not at night. If travelling north drive past the area, pull into the rest area, turn around when safe and pull off the road by the border marker. Keep your small children in hand. Having said that it's perfectly safe for people with road sense to be here.
This is easy find. The cache is a custom painted lunch box container. I noticed some ahh other disgarded glass and metal topped containers in the area. These are not the cache. :)
This cache has been badly vandalised recently by a brown/black? haired mail about 27-32 years of age, stocky/obese build who appears to own a blue Garmin type GPSr. If you know anyone matching that description, please let me know. Please provide a condition report of the cache when you visit the site.
