Signal was in Houston and is currently hopping his way back to Seattle for Geowoodstock 8. I received a note, thanking me for the all the *Southern* hospitality he received while visiting Houston. He wished that the cache container be replaced and people still visit his former resting spot in his honor.
The cache:
The area is a wooded area in Northwest Houston. There is parking along a side street which is not too busy. The terrain is a bit of a challenge, but everyone knows if I can make it, so can you. The terrain is uneven and even breaks into a small gully, depending which way you choose to walk. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A WALKING STICK! Puddles can accumulate during heavy rains so keep an eye out for puddled water.
Do not do this at night because of the terrain. If you choose to do this at night, please bring a flash light and walking stick. The cache is fragile, please handle with care.
The original container has been replaced with another container and is one of Signal's favorite type of hides. Please bring your own pen. Please close container as required and place back exactly as you found. Room for small trade items such as small tb's, coins and pathtags. No need to hide elsewhere. Let me know when the cache needs maintenance.
