Geocache Description:

Cache within view of skyline chairlift

Here is a cache for skiiers, snowboarders, and others looking for a adventure.
This cache is located within view of the top of Ski Bluewood Skyline chair lift. Its fairly interesting to wander around the trails during the summer, especially snow skiiers like myself. The cache container is a painted Folgers coffee can.
There is two ways of getting to the cache, either you can take the smoother route and go up eckler mountain, make the loop around Godman (hit Edmiston springs cache on the way) and then this cache. Or you can go up the Bluewood route and hit Middle Point Ridge, North Touchet Stairsteps and Fall Back in the Blues caches.

The cache is a short hike up a hill from the road, there are a variety of places to start looking for this cache. There are a couple trails that will lead you to the cache. Its located just outside of the Bluewood boundry where skiiers are not allowed.

Checkout the chair lift, the lift shack, and the ski patrols new aid shack. Its a unique place during the summer.

*** Whats the weather like up there? ***
Ah, I am so glad you asked. You can checkout the Touchet Snotel station by going to: (visit link)

Whats a Snotell station, Fritzelman and I found the Touchet site, check it out: (visit link)

Please note, the cache is going to be almost impossible to find with snow on the ground, and the road is closed from December 1st until the 1st of April due to all of the snow. During that time of year the only way to access it is via snowmobile, sno-shoe, cross-country ski, or downhill skiiers.
