Geocache Description:

Small camo cache placed in a Pleasanton city park.

The Scrub Jay's harsh voice and aggressive manner draw attention to these large, gregarious blue and gray birds. As you walk around this park you will see and hear them. Scrub Jays play an important role in the propagation and spread of oak trees through the jay's habbit of collecting acorns in the fall and burying them. Acorn food caches that are forgotten often sprout.

The container is a camo'd mid sized plastic jar. The cache contains a log sheet and small items for trade.

After you find the cache, sit a moment on one of the benches and watch the tennis players hard at work on the nearby courts.
