This cache is located along the Heritage Rail Trail County Park, just south of Hanover Junction Station. Parking is available at the station, coordinates N 39 50.645, and
W 076 46.648. Walking distance round trip from the station is about 1.50 miles.
Bring your own pen as cache is a 35mm film container with log only.
The cache is located at the site where a coal yard operated in the days of steam-powered locomotves to refuel.
A plaque at the site showes a picture and explains the operations at the coal yard during these early years.
Use caution retrieving and re-hiding cache as trail is very busy on holidays and weekends.
