Maumee Bay, a great place for fishing and recreation. The cache is located in a small park along the shores of Lake Erie. A nice sidewalk with many benches to sit and take in the view.

Toledo Harbor Light

This multi is a simple one. A two stage with the final being an AMMO CAN! That's right we said it, an ammo can in Oregon! The first stage you will be looking for is a micro with the coords for the final.

This location gives you a great view of the lake, on clear days you are able to see the Toledo Harbor Light.

The terrain rating is for the final location, be careful it could get a little rocky.

Have fun and enjoy. FTF prize is a three-pack of "slingers"

Finally found stage 1 after waiting on a muggle who wanted to talk...and talk...and talk! Quickly moved on to stage 2 and left a TB. Thanks for the cache and the fun!

Found stage one after a little search. The log was very wet but we were able to carefully obtain the coords for stage two. Wrote the coords on another piece of paper and left that in the container. It was then off to stage 2. We found it nicely hidden so we signed the log and then headed on our way. Nice two stage at a nice beach area.

I found the first part without too much effort. Problem was, the paper was so wet the numbers were smeared. I couldn't really read them. A new, dry paper with the coordinates is needed. Thanks for the fun. I've never been to that park and the view was amazing.

found first stage couldn't find second stage but still a beautiful spot for a cache. I left a dry sheet of paper with the co-ords to the second stage in the first stage because stage 1 was soggy.

One of several finds on a caching run to Maumee Bay State Park, Pearson Park & the surrounding Oregon area. Enjoyed the hike around on a beautiful summer day. We tried this cache twice today. First time we were 10 feet from stage one and some muggles were meddling on Maumee Bay today, about 2 feet from stage one and they were being way too nosy. We got up, walked back to the car, started to drive off to another cache and then they left. So we parked and went back to stage one, found quickly amongst all the mayflies and then walked over to the final stage. Good hide in a great location and love the view from there. TFTC! Picked up the two travel bugs.

My favorite of the day. I really like this area, and enjoyed the cache. The info in stage one is beginning to get a bit torn and faded. Fortunately one of my special skills is invisibility to fishermen. Found the cache and launched my new Dynamic Duo TB. If anyone finds a partially full bottle of Brisk iced tea, please CITO it for me. TFTC!

#91 - Found this one this afternoon, in what had to be the remnants of Hurricane Ike. Man, was it ever windy! Stuck to it and finally found the first stage. After that, finding the second was a lot easier. I think my GPS was acting a little funny because of the weather. Had a great time anyway! TFTH

Camping at Maumee Bay State Park this weekend, and rode our bikes out to this area to find the cache. Spent 10 minutes looking for the first stage, and came up empty. Then while double checking the coordinates realized that I was looking for the first stage at the parking coordinates

Found the first stage quickly. We found the final cache, and while my son was attempting to pull it free I saw on the ground a rather large vine that I though was poison ivy. So we just decided to call it a find. We went back to the campground and he showered off just in case.

Thanks for the hide - we especially enjoyed the area around the final cache.

(#916) I had the distinct pleasure of caching this afternoon with Barnacle Bear and The Count thanks to a brown out at my office that seemed to cover half of Perrysburg.

This was a very nice multi. The view out across the lake was not too good today, but some of the ice formations were impressive.

This place is TB heaven! TFTC!!

Stage two is dry and well stocked, but stage one is wet and could probably use lamination in the future to prevent the same issue from occurring again. Nice to find an ammo can among so many micros. TFTC. Dropped TB.

After we found this cache, my Border Collie and I walked around the nearby park. She had a blast and spent hours diving into the snow drifts and attempting to catch whatever she thought she was after. Since we were nearby, we went to Maumee Bay State Park and did some serious hiking. Then it was home for a nap. Thanks again!

Wow, there were a TON of TBs in this cache, and i don't think all of them were listed on this page. I took 3 and left 1, and the inventory has only one other trackable (a geocoin) listed, but i swear i saw more than that.

Well, anyway, i am always delighted to find a geocache that has an icon other than a green box. So, when i saw a multi in this part of Oregon that i'm very familiar with (from the days when the ships i work on used to dock at Torco almost weekly), i couldn't resist hunting it down. I parked across the street, made short work of the redirector, then carefully picked my way across the snow and rocks to the final. It could have been a nightmare find, but i found it fairly quickly. I dropped off the beetle bug, who is in a race with some other TBS, and took a few of the trackables to get them moving. Thanks for the multi in an area that is very lovely in other seasons!!
