This multistage cache will give you a nice one mile walking or biking tour of Lebanon. You can not drive to different locations, as most have no parking. The terrain is easy with no hiking or bushwhacking involved. The final coordinates will be decided by numbers obtained at different stages.
*Make a note of the letters in parenthesis for they will be used for the final coordinates.
The cache itself is an ammo canister filled with goodies. It contains:

Lebanon Borough, located north of Round Valley Reservoir and completely surrounded by Clinton Township, is only one square mile and has approximately 1,200 residents. Known in the early part of the 19th century as Jacksonville in honor of President Lincoln's Secretary of war, the area has had a number of other names over the years to include - Lebanonville, Lebanonville Depot and finally Lebanon. The Borough was officially formed in 1926.
You will start your adventure at the above coordinates. You may park here anytime except Sunday until one P.M. or so.
Stage One:
At parking area; look for Mother Mary and Father Isaac. When you find them, look to Mother Mary’s left side to find Uncle John. What year was Uncle John born?

The history of the Lebanon Reformed Church goes back further than the reported history of the area. It has a documented three fold history as a German Reformed congregation, later as a Presbyterian Church and beginning in 1816, as a Dutch Reformed Church. The first church was a log structure by the present day train tracks and was replaced in 1780 by a frame structure. In 1816, a brick church was built at a cost of $7,459. In 1854, a new church was built on the site of the present day church. One of the reasons for the move was that the noise of the steam engines of the new railroad interrupted church services and frightened the horses tied at the church. The steeple of the church was struck by lightening in 1923 and again on August 19, 1937 when the church was burned to the ground. The present church was dedicated on December 11, 1938.

Proceed to the coordinates above. At the "high point", turn right. Pass the old school house on the right. It is currently the municipal building.
A two story frame public school was built in Lebanon in 1864 on the site of the present municipal building. This was demolished and replaced by the brick school, which used to have a distinctive cupola in 1909. The new school was built across the street in 1989 and the old school became the town municipal building. Reportedly, the building is haunted. Footsteps and strange voices can be heard inside.
Say hi to the ghost and continue to the end of the street. Make a left turn and continue to the next set of coordinates. Use numbers from Stage 1.

Arrive at coordinates. Look for King Lear. What year did Bruce make his premiere as King Lear?

Stage III:
As you approach the next destination, look to your right at the lovely Methodist Church. The Lebanon United Methodist Church began as a series of meeting held in the school house in 1869. The church was organized in 1971 and an acre of ground was purchased for $200.00 for the church building. The cornerstone was laid in the fall of 1871 and the Church was built at a cost of $9270.00 and dedicated on October 17, 1872. The spire was struck by lightening in 1886 and it was repaired but not replaced. In 1892 a bell was installed. The belfry was later removed and currently the bell sits on the grounds outside the church.
At coordinates, turn left. Walk till you find eight stones. Right before the eight stones, a large pig may be watching you.

Continue to end of road. You will pass your parked car. You will also pass on the left, the Mausoleum of the Pidcocks. James N. Pidcock (1836-1899), represented New Jersey's 4th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1885 to 1889.
At the end of the road, look to the right. There will be three large numbers. BCD

Final Stage:
Proceed to next destination. If you look to ahead, you will see the Kullman Factory. They used to make roadside diners there. Now, they construct prefabricated homes.
In front of you will be a sign for the Old Reformed Cemetery. Using the letters in parenthesis from the other coordinates, enter the numbers. Follow coordinates to the cache.
