BackroadsGal: This one has gone missing too many times. I'm archiving it to free up the area for new hiders.

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Please note that this cache is a MICRO. It is not a letterbox.
If you find a letterbox, keep searching until you find the real
geocache container.
A mystery cache that requires no puzzle-solving skills, but perhaps
you may be able to help solve the mystery. Mystery Solved! See
below. Take note of the terrain rating. No need to climb on a 1
1/2 star terrain.
While searching for a nice spot to hide a cache, I stumbled upon
this cache container in this location. A soaking wet log inside
indicated it was an "Official Geocache Site," with the usual
wording and www.geocaching.com listed as the place to go for more
information, but no name for the cache or the hider. The log had
only been signed twice, in 2005. The first signers used their real
names. The second signers are out-of-town geocachers who admitted
to finding the cache by accident as I did.
Despite searching gc.com extensively and getting help from other
geocachers, I have been unable to determine what this cache is or
who hid it. If you know or just have a guess, please include it in
your on-line log. I'll be happy to turn this cache over to its
proper owner, if found. Or I'll include any valid information on
the cache page.
So go find this cache and let's try to solve this mystery. Even if
we don't solve it, this is a great spot for a cache and you'll get
another smiley for your time!
UPDATE (1/13/06): The original cache was hidden by Cooksters
and named Rusty Crossing. It was not approved when hidden because
at the time there was another cache too close by (Chandler Branch
URP by Semper Questio) that has since been archived. Thanks to
Prime Approver for solving the mystery and to Cooksters for
agreeing to leave this cache placed here! Congrats to Semper
Questio and GeoMire for co-FTF!
