Geocache Description:

PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE VEGETATIONS AROUND THE CACHE SITE!!!

Muzhi mountain (Mt Thumb), height of 312 meters isn't the highest in the region, but definitely worth the view from its rock top. Situated in the popular Nangang and Xinyi Hiking Trail minutes away from city center, you could easily see the whole Taipei basin right under you, with great views of Taipei 101.

There are many hiking trails to the top of Muzhi Moutain, below are the 2 trails I wound recommend that are well maintained.

N 25°01.635 E 121° 34.246 Start here from the Tiger Mountain hiking trail that goes up to JiuWu Peak (374m) and from there a short distance to Muzhi moutain

N 25° 02.177 E 121° 35.257 Start here from the Elephant Mountain hiking trail, along the way you can look for 2 other caches hidden along this popular hiking trail
