This is #5 of ten Howell Campground GeoCaching Primer (HCGCP) caches placed for Lake Red Rock's Big Geocaching Event, September 18, 2010.
On the geocaching website you'll notice that each cache has a difficulty rating and terrain rating from 1 to 5. All these Howell caches are pretty easy, 1s and 1.5s. I heard of one difficulty of 5 that requires scuba gear! A terrain of 1 should be a hunt on flat ground and wheelchair accessible.
We really wanted to hide our 2010 event caches along the grass trail that starts here, but the standing water from that summer's rainfall lingered too long. The cache name was an invitation to come back after things dried up and take a hike; the invitation still stands, and now we finally got our caches placed there too!
