Geocache Description:

CAUTION; BEARS HAVE BEEN IN THE AREA. LET THEM HEAR YOU COMING AND THEY WILL LEAVE. BE ALERT.This is the 2nd of my night-time caches ( See "He-Be-Je-Bees" by Katscache). Flashlight required. Park at N42 05.297 W72 53.920 and take the narrow trail until you reach the above coordinates. Here you will find a large Birch tree on the edge of the trail. Shine your flashlight into the woods to locate the 1/4" reflective tacks on the trees. Follow these tacks until you reach the last tree which has three tacks in it. Here you will find the cache. Follow tacks back out. Please, no spoilers when logging find. Feel free to send an e-mail regarding your adventure. Back when the Tennessee Pipeline was being installed through Granville, Ma., a young man by the name of Mike Slaughter joined the project. Very eager to impress his employer, he was sometimes careless in his work habits. On one busy day he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. According to legend, a large excavator severed his lower legs clean off. In the rush to get poor Mike into town for medical attention, his legs were left behind and lost amongst the piles of dirt and debris. Mikes legs were never found. There are those that say on certain nights when the moon is right, Mikes legs can be seen walking... searching for the body to which they once belonged.
