Second Innings - (Son of CD) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Alba15: This cache has been disabled for some time. Would the owner please check this cache and either repair or replace it or give an indication of why it is still disabled and when it is likely to be repaired/replaced. Otherwise it should be archived. If there is no response to this log after 8 days I will archive the cache.

Guidelines: "As the cache owner, you are also responsible for physically checking your cache periodically, and especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to hunt for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable time - normally a few weeks - in which to arrange a visit to your cache. In the event that a cache is not being properly maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time, we may archive the listing."

Could the cache owner please place a note on the cache page so that other cachers and I can see what your intentions are.

Many thanks,

Alba15

Geocache Description:

An easy cache in Barlaston - suitable for most.

This easy cache is near the cricket ground in Barlaston and with it being my second cache hide provides the name. Thanks must go to The Bolas Heathens for the inspiration to go and set this up as this is a ready made cache from their excellent cache - CACHE DISPENSER and fulfills their conditions I hope. The cache originally contains some nice bottle openers for opening a beer while you are watching the cricket. Although the cache is relatively easy, I hope you enjoy something like the lovely evening that I had when setting it.

The cache can be approached from two directions at least - not interested in cricket or want the nearest spot? then a small lane outside the village is a good bet - want to walk through the cricket ground and part of the village? then suggest you park at N52 56.530 W002 09.550 - a pleasant walk past the post office and pub then 2nd turning right up Malthouse Lane (max. 10 mins. stroll). Cheers dms.
