Geocache Description:

Sawyer Camp Trail, a great place to hike, bike, roll, stroll, or do whatever you like(as long as your not tearin' through here on some motorized peace disrupter).

As usual with cachers, we look for a nice spot quiet, or scenic, or something to teach someone. This is just a nice quiet spot to view and reflect on our surroundings (I wish those people sitting there would just go AWAY!).

We had such an interesting time trying to hide this one...Well, let me just show you...

May 29 by dr.dolittle&faith (148 found) OK, you'll like this one. Here we are caching along Sawyer Camp Trail, wait let me back up a little. We planned to bike and cache here today, but kinda ran short on time this morning so you know what that means, you forget stuff. Anyway, I downloaded the coords. for our hunt and we were off. We also brought a few caches to place since there weren't to many out here. We get about half way and we see this nice spot in the trees, and LOOK! there's a great place to hide this ammo box, COOL ! So we hid our cache and moved on(we entered at the SM end). As we ride along, I keep looking at my GPS to see when the next cache appears(which really isn't a good idea anyway since you kinda need to watch the road, but that doesn't matter anyway as you'll see, not all pistons were firing today). Now I know there were some caches at this end, I saw them this morn., rats I didn't download them. No prob., I'll call home and my bro. can give'em to me. Well we got to the Hillcrest entrance and I got a hold of him and got the coords. We were off again! We grabbed your 'Barbed Wire' cache and headed for 'Jepson'. Rats, it's to close to my 'pit stop' cache, that's ok we can move it. Wait, the GPS is zeroing right were I placed mine, even better I place my ammo can directly in front of this one and didn't even know it DUH!! LOL!!!! This has been a broadcast of the 'Bring Your Brain Emergency Network' thank you for listening.

So, anyway, we finally found a good hiding spot for this one and we hope you enjoy it too.

UPDATE 3/2/07: cache has been relocated w/ coord. update as well.
