On the county line of Outagamie and Shawano Counties lies a little
piece of nowhere called Chicken Alley.
Chicken Alley has been featured in several books and websites on
the paranormal and other items of "Weird Wisconsin."

Reported sightings include:
*You will see headless, ghost chickens.
*You will be chased by what appear to be snowmobile lights, but
they never get closer.
*Sometimes you can see the Chicken Alley sign and sometimes you
cannot see it.
*There is a large tree that only appears with a full moon in the
background.
*You will see wild chickens running around; and if you get out of
your car at the crossroads, someone will yell at you.
Now, we were skeptical ourselves before we visited this site.
However, having gone there, we found some things that were
difficult to believe, as the photos below show.
Here is the Chicken Alley sign itself. As you can see, it
appears to be floating in midair. The ground is nowhere in sight!
Crazy!!!
Here is a wider shot of Chicken Alley. Here you can see the sign
support has mysteriously REAPPEARED!!! However, if you look closely
in this actual, unretouched photograph, you can faintly make out
what appears to be a ghost in the photo! And this ghost was NOT in
the picture when we took it. And what about those horizontal lines
on the road--could they be ectoplasm? Spooky!
Finally, and most telling, is this bizarre photo. You can clearly
see a shadow on the road with no logical explanation.
Bizarre!
