Near first landing site. Park at the top and walk down.
This site commemorates the landing of the first white, permanent, settlers in Pt Lincoln. (Indigenous peoples and later, whalers had been here first) As a young boy I was fascinated that you could get fresh drinking water less than a metre above high tide mark just south of here. The small "well" seems to have disappeared and I wouldn't recommend drinking the water these days. Also, the tide was so high a couple of times that I decided against hiding it along the foreshore. Instead, put it just off the path at the end of walkway. No theme, just a variety of trinkets, log and biro. Cache has migrated. New clue shows where i found it last.

A good find by AstroWes. We both smelt like those bushes by the end of the search. I hope it is easier to find by the next person. Go up from the tree (about 2 m) and look in the stuff.

Clear skies - loved that little spring. Could have done with a dip after....
