In the Country Park. Easy to get to with a minor slope and a fairly obvious selection of possible cache sites. If you have to scramble through undergrowth then you are taking the hard route. This was one of the Moncur colliery pits. Have a look at Eglinton Country Park on Wikipedia for more local history.
