The Lego Fool & His Missus invite you to join them on their special day
Join us for the festivities on July 7th, 2012,
between 6:00pm and 10:00pm
The year was 1994 when the two individuals first met.
Working together in the casino industry, they met and instantly knew the attraction was real. Both of them already with other partners, they kept their feelings toward each other their own heart’s secret.
Their two families intertwined as their children grew up together, but he soon left the industry and the two of them lost touch. Their children continued to grow up, attending each other’s birthday parties, some of the business events, but he still was nowhere to be seen as the industry had closed his cold, calculating door on him.
Fast forward to the year 2009, 15 years later, and with the modern miracle of the main social website Facebook, he reconnects with her again. He initiates a new friendship with an old friend.
A new discovery is revealed as she is now single, and so is he. He admits his passion and desire for her, and she sheepishly admits hers to him. A quiet, yet powerful bond develops between them, but yet she is still unsure if she is ready to make a commitment to him.
They plan to meet for the first time in years, and he leaves Vancouver on the Greyhound bus, heading to Kamloops knowing well ahead of time that we would win her over.
There are anxious texts between the two of them as the bus slowly creeps down the highway, bringing him ever so closer to her. He arrives, and she cautiously lets him into her life. She slowly lets herself feel the warmth and affection of his arms engulfing her in their very first embrace.
Exactly two weeks later, on February 13th, 2010, she picks him up in Richmond. They pack the car with the majority of his belongings, and he says goodbye to the city life.
Every day is a new adventure, Every breath they take is new and exciting.
And today is their day.
