After loosing his tackle along the Fox, the Old Man decided to head
south to do some fishin on the big lake. He found a great little
spot that appeared to be set up just for that purpose and sat down
to see what he could pull out of the water.
After a time, he just wasn't getting any strikes and decided it
was time to move on. Just then a seagull came swooping down and
snatched up his bait box. Must have been all the bright colors in
there. Anyway, off it flew to the south with the box in its
craw.
Distraught, but resolved that it was gone for good, the Old Man
started on his way home and wasn't but a half-block away when he
saw the bird come flying in again and sure to tell it dropped the
box almost where it snatched it up to begin with. Elated, the Old
Man headed back to pick up his box, but he just couldn't find it.
Can you help him out?
UPDATE: 7.25.07 Because this one has been muggled on 2
previous occasions, I have changed it to an offset final. At the
coordinates you will find coordinates for the final not that far
away.
UPDATE:10.15.07 Offset final moved from public-looking
property that turns out is private to private-looking property that
turns out is public.
UPDATE: 8.12.09 Moved the final back to
its original location hoping that enough time has passed for it to
remain there. Besides, containers are cheap and I always need an
excuse to visit OshKosh. If it goes missing, it will be
replaced.
