Geocache Description:

This is a very easy and very quick multi-stage cache. Permission to place this cache here has been obtained from Blake.

CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE LISTED COORDINATES ! The coordinates given will take you to a picture window – inside the picture window is one of the original horse drawn carriages used by this business in 1885. Located just a few feet away is a replica of the John Constant House (circa 1720) which was rebuilt on this location in 1994 by Constantia Chapter D.A.R. This house is still used by the public for a variety of meetings. This business has been at this location since 1942 but has been in business since 1885 when it was started at the corner of Main St and E. Washington Street in downtown Suffolk as a furniture store that dealt in made-to-order coffins and home furnishings. Also at this location please take the time to enjoy the California Redwood tree which was transplanted here in 1954. Once at this location and when you are done admiring the carriage, take a very short walk to the front of the replica John Constant House (small house behind the main building of this business). Take a seat on the stone bench directly in front of the house and spend a few moments to take in the Redwood Tree and the garden area. Permission has been obtained to place this cache here but the owner asks that if the parking lot is full of cars, there is a service ongoing, and please return at a later time. NO bush-wacking is involved in this cache. Also be aware that the local L.E.O.s may be present in the parking lot at night. You are looking for a Ammo Can (11x8x6) – original contents included, log, pen, various toys, the Shiro Travel Bug, a Symbology Geocoin, and for the First To Find – a 2000 Gold One Dollar John Quincy Adams Coin. *** CONGRATS to L.E.O.GEOs for the FTF ! ! ! ***
