Middleton Area LPC-6 Traditional Geocache

What does LPC stand for you may ask?  It is an acronym for:  ‘Lamp Post Cache’.  While this kind of cache seems to be a bit controversial in the geocaching community, I went ahead and created the series anyway.  I’m not going to get into all my reasons pro and con, suffice to say I made the cache type known in the name so you can avoid this series if you don’t like this particular type of cache.

I was just wandering around Middleton on my bike one day and it dawned on me how many public and private businesses there are.  Not getting into whether this is a good or bad thing,  I created the series to bring people to these areas and have them stop to actually see the businesses, rather than just driving by buildings and parking lots on their way to somewhere else.  It may attract clients to the businesses, but the real intent is to get people out for a little exercise and site seeing in the city of Middleton.
