Special THANKS TO "KampingCachers" for replacing this cache.

You are looking for a large Geocaching container furnished by KampingCachers. Container is large enough to hold most travel bugs I've run across and several of them! Original contents include a couple of TB's along with some travel items including; crayons, scratch pads, playing cards, games, travel soaps and shampoo just in case you need any.

PLEASE....IF YOU TAKE A TRAVEL BUG.....PLEASE PLEASE GO ONLINE AND RETRIEVE THE BUG FROM THE CACHE...DON'T JUST TAKE IT AND NEVER LOG IT.. IT SURE SPOILS A LOT OF FUN FOR THE ONES THAT ARE TRACKING IT AND IT REALLY SPOILS THE CACHE WHEN SOMEONE IS EXPECTING TO SEE AND/OR GRAB A TB FROM THE CACHE AND IT ISN'T THERE!!!!!.....PLEASE LOG A TB IF YOU TAKE IT!!!!!! IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH TRAVEL BUGS....LEAVE THEM ALONE AND IN THE CACHE!

After a long boring ride on I-10 this rest area is kind of refreshing because once you exit the highway it looks like you immediately enter onto a parkway in the mountains. This Rest Area serves both east bound and west bound traffic on I10 just east of the Eastern Time Zone. Your GPS will probably try to direct you to one of the exit/return or loop roads, but you don't need to park there because not only is there an easier path at the top, but it could be dangerous. Instead, drive all the way to the loop that goes around the restrooms and you can park in front of one of the picnic shelters and just have an easy 200'+ walk depending on which parking spot you pick. This is a great cache to leave those TB's that you forgot to leave or didn't find the right cache to leave them in while at the Gulf Beaches or while you were in the other parts of Florida and/or Georgia.
