All the Walnuts burnt up in the Sayre Fire of 2008, but don't worry... they'll grow back and come Springtime, you'll once again be able to enjoy the shade of these walnut trees! Beautiful vistas on the way up to or down from Mission Point. Great views of San Fernando Valley, the Verdugos, San Gabriels and Bee Canyon

This cache is located on the Mission Point Trail and can be reached from many trailheads, but the most direct route is up from the main O'Melveny Park entrance at 17300 Sesnon Blvd.

You'll be looking for a decon container, with a logbook, pen and pencil plus some cool trade items for your fair trading pleasure.

Good luck & Happy caching!

The Friday Caching Crew was working new territory today - our first time on this trail. This was one of many caches we found on a ten mile hike, ending in O'Melveny Park. We spotted this one quickly and moved on. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL.

With the help of the recent rains these cache containers are being naturally cammoed either by leaves or grass or both. Makes the find all that more fun! TFTH
