OK, it’s a micro in the woods. I know, I know, I’ve said I’d never
do one, but there is a reason.
This area floods so this is a cache that will not be washed
away.
It is also a bushwhack into the cache. OK, I said I wouldn’t do
that either, but the trails are slowly being cleared and with the
recent flood and blow downs the area is a mess, so there is no
other way. Well, actually there are at least 3 ways in but I can’t
recommend any of them as I tried them all. But any will
work....with some work.
This is not a native plant sanctuary so not to worry.
Cache is placed with the permission and knowledge of the Ranger
so be friendly, don’t worry and DON’T PARK IN FRONT OF THE GATE
UNLESS YOU WANT A TICKET.
The cache is a Bison tube hidden in an unusual way. You don’t
need to tear up plants, Moss, ferns or dig in the mud (did I
mention mud?) or do any damage looking for it. If it was hidden in
the same way as I did though, you won't see it. Use a light finger
and remember, I’m told that I must be 7’ tall.
If you find the cache hide it as well as you found it.
Have fun and as always beware of snooping eyes.
It is always a good idea to have a writing instrument with you.
Finally, please let me know if there are problems with either the
cache or its coordinates.
