Clumsy Claude in St. Tropez Mystery Cache
Lion Heart: Flooding. Seems to be a real problem in this area. To keep a cache in the same area would require a smaller container and I don't want to do that with it being a kids cache. Therefore, its time to archive this cache. Thanks for all your comments, hope everyone enjoyed the find. [:)]

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES.
The cache is a regular size camouflaged Gladlock container. The
contents of the container include a log book, pencils and a variety
of children’s toys. Access to the cache can be found on paved paths
located throughout the neighborhood. No real bushwhacking is
required, once off the path. Conditions will be muddy after heavy
rainfall.
My twin girls were showing me their latest artistic creations, the
other day. Their pictures brought back memories of my days in
graduate school; where I was getting my masters in finance. My real
passion when I first enrolled in college was to have a career in
art. However, I soon realized that I needed something a little more
stable to make ends meet and I decided to abandon my art career for
one in business. Over the years I have had some regrets for my
decision; but overall everything has worked out fine.
Back in college I was a commuter student and many of my friends
were older couples or single parents with kids. During my free
time, I would write and illustrate stories involving their
children. Also, lately, I have noticed that there are not many
caches specifically designed for younger children. I know that many
of us take our children out with us when we are geocaching. To that
end I have created this cache using one of my old stories. It is
specifically designed for younger children. To solve this cache,
both parents and kids need to read the story included in the
attached jpeg files (the story should be read sequentially (i.e.
page1, page2, etc.)). The coordinates are split into two parts.
The first part requires you to read the story while you look for
the latitude coordinate numbers hidden in the pictures of the
story. The numbers will be enclosed in a circle.
The coordinate is in the standard format N _ _ 0_._ _
_
The second part, the longitude coordinate, can be found by
answering the questions listed below:and counting the number of
letters in each answer.
The coordinate is in the standard format W 0AA
BC.DEF
A = What items of clothing does Claude like to
wear around his neck?
B = What hurt Claude at the fish market minus
two?
C = What was Claude’s present from Uncle Edmond
minus one?
D = What is Uncle Edmond’s favorite color?
E = What fell on Claude at the boat docks?
F = What is the name of the game that the men
are playing?
The difficulty of this cache has been purposefully kept simple to
provide a fun cache find for children both young and old. I hope
you enjoy it. Now onto the story…
Hint: When you get to the coordinates, look on the side where
the stream is located.
Congratulations to FlyingMoose on FTF.
Congratulations to Coach Jacks Gang on being the FTF
