Easter Egg Event of 2015
Tired of the snow? Looking to get out for one of your first Spring events? Well, I am not sure that snow will be gone, but we will be out again hosting our annual Easter Egg Event!! Come join us and other cachers for an Easter Egg hunt at the LeVine Preserve in the town of Providence, NY. Find some eggs, find some caches, and find some friends (or make new ones) as you and/or your children look for eggs spread throughout the preserve.
Prizes for found eggs will include candy, toys, geo-items, and other items yet to be determined. Drinks and snacks will be made available. If you want to bring something to share, then please post it so others will know. If you would like to contribute items to be given away, then please contact me.
Bring your friends, bring your children, bring your pets and bring yourselves! It would also be wise to bring the bug repellant and some tweezers as some of us discovered ticks, not geocoins, on our clothing at last year’s event! YUCK!! Last year’s event went pretty well and we had some really nice weather. Let us hope this year’s event follows suit!
This year we will hang out a Saratoga PLAN preserve. "The preserve was donated to Saratoga PLAN in 2002 by the LeVine family in memory of the late Dr. Milton LeVine, who purchased the property in 1968 so that he and his wife and sons could enjoy the many natural wonders that the land has to offer."
"For the past 12 years Saratoga PLAN has been honored to care for the property as countless visitors have enjoyed the land by means of its ~3 mile trail system."
This event will take place from 10am-2pm unless otherwise noted. Not sure what to wear? Try here:
