CITO in the City: Brand's Park Cache In Trash Out Event

When was the last time a CITO was held in the city?  I don't know either, so it's high time to change that.  Join us at Brands Park on April 20 for some CITO love.  Of course, anyone participating in a CITO on April 20 or 21 qualifies for the 11th Annual CITO weekend and will get a spiffy souvenir from Groundspeak.

Location:

We'll be meeting at Brands Park - 3259 N Elston Ave, Chicago IL 60618. The event will be from 10am-12pm.

What will we be doing:

We'll be picking up and cleaning up Brands Park.  Depending on the volume of work, we may branch out into the surrounding areas and neighborhood.

Regarding the surrounding area, Avondale is quite safe at all hours of the day and night.  You can park around the park without concern, and a waypoint for free parking is attached.
 

What will be provided:

We'll be providing rakes, bags, and gloves.  If you have your own CITO gloves, feel free to bring them if you'd like.  The community center at Brands has water fountains, but do bring containers for water.
 

Other Details:

There will be a log to sign in at the beginning of the event.
