How Geocaching Works
This cache is located off the North Branch Pigeon River by the canoe launch area. This is a quaint spot to stop and have lunch. There is a grill located in the area but the restrooms are disabled (sorry).
Despite it indicating that a canoe could be launched, be forwarned that while placing the cache hubby noticed that there were too many logs in the water making it a less than ideal site for a canoe launch at this time.
The cach is s short walk along the river and is a mayo container that is camouflaged and containes a log book, small pencil, and a few toys for kids. Because of the area the GPS was not always consistant so I took an average for the numbers. May have to search a bit to find exact spot.
