How shall I introduce myself? Hum, well I'll use the name the latest humans use Methuselah.
I've seen about 1800 winters. All of my old friends are gone. I wonder if any of the old ones still live?
I'm not alone but I do miss my friends. The young ones are fine but they just don’t have the experience of years. When the old ones were killed their children prospered as did the other species. I have my own young around me for when I die.
When you visit stop and sit for a while, few humans do. Admire the graceful Douglas Fur near my roots. She will like that.
