In doing a maintenance run, several years after our previous visit, we could not remember how we got to the cache from the main road, so wound up taking a poor way in. It appears that others have used it, but it isn't really a good way to go. The best, easiest, safest (i.e. no cactus) approach is from the main road, in a wide area that is about 30-40 feet west of a road that heads north (toward the power towers). This wide area is also just a few steps east of a half-exposed metal pipe that used to be entirely under the old ranch road. Game paths are numerous, and there is very little cactus.
