Geocache Description:

An easy hike in the Blue Hills south of Boston.

This is a cache in a clear rectangle container. The cache initially contained a map of the reservation, blank cassette tape, CD opener, lip balm, kazoo, super ball, Hawaiian lei, and of course a family of plastic dinosaurs. Please don't take the pencil or the sharpener.

The cache is located a short distance off a lesser trail. Please be mindful of the vegetation. Your reward is a great view of Boston for a very modest effort.

Edit 10/10/01: By popular demand, I have increased the terrain difficulty to a 2. Initially it was a 1 based on other caches I had done and because there are some fairly easy trails to get to this cache that avoid the steep terrain. I highly recommend buying a trail map at the park headquarters on Hillside Street (also a good place to park for this cache). Maps are always available on the honor system - just bring $2 and pick up a map.

One final note - I'll put an encrypted hint below with info about the best approach to this cache. I hope this helps, and my apologies go out to the folks who had a tough time finding this cache. I hope the view was worth it!!
