This traditional cache is hidden in the James Swamp Recreation
Area in North Andover, MA. Above coordinates are for the cache.
Additional waypoints are listed below for parking and the trailhead
to access this swamp area.
At the request of the North Andover Conservation Commission,
please park at the coordinates listed below and please only access
the area from the trailhead listed below. This swamp area is
nestled between some residential areas and these residents do not
want to be disturbed by cachers looking for a shortcut.
For those familiar with the area, the parking lot is located on
the corner of Johnson Street and Rea Street.
To access the trailhead, you will need to cross the large soccer
field and then another smaller soccer field. You will then see a
sign for the James Swamp Recreation Area at the coordinates posted
below.
The trails are open from dawn to dusk.
Absolutely no night caching allowed.
This is a traditional hide in a clear Lock&Lock container.
The contents have started with a some assorted golf and geoswag
items. No need to keep with the theme, just wanted to start it off
with items related to my passtimes. Please trade fair.
I have left an unactivated geocoin and a few gold dollars in the
cache for the FTF!! Good luck!

completely and secure all four of the locking tabs as well as
replace the container (and any necessary camo) exactly as you found
them.
Please stay on the trails until you are at least within 100ft of
the cache so that the area is not negatively impacted by
unnecessary bushwacking!! Also, it is not necessary to disturb any
rock walls to access this hide!!
