Geocache Description:


DSH is the for Detroit Sports History series which is a dedication to the people,
places, and things relating to the history of Sports in and around Metro Detroit.

 


 
"Light the Lamp" is a Slang term for scoring a goal, referring to the red light that goes on behind the goal when a team scores.

Nearby is where the Detroit Red Wings have done their best to Light The Lamp as many times as they can against every opponent they play.

As of the end of the every season, they are hoping to Light the Lamp all the way through the Stanley Cup Finals and bring Lord Stanley's Cup home to Detroit once again.
