Geocache Description:

Through the gate, which leads you down to the footpath to Lea-by-Backford. As you go down the steps, you pass somewhere on your right hand side a hidden 35 mm plastic film canister, which contains a log sheet and pencil; happy searching, it’s not too difficult. I have also placed another micro cache at the other end of this footpath. If you like, you can take a short but pleasant walk along this occasionally used path that runs parallel with the Chester to Liverpool railway line. Once you have reached the end of the footpath try and find this second micro cache that I have named “Stone My Crow” co-ordinates N 53 14.015 W 002 54.837. You can then retrace your steps back to where you entered the footpath or take a more interesting circular route by turning left out of the gate and walking along Station Road then take the next left along Demage Lane and finally back to where you started from. Or you can simply treat both individually as drive bys if you don’t fancy a walk. As always, it is up to you!
