This cache is located in the Boney Mountain State Wilderness area
of Point Mugu State Park, near the junction of two of its main
trails.
This cache is for hiking cachers, located near the junction of the
Old Boney and Serrano Valley Trails. There are three different
approaches to the junction. It’s a long, hike to the cache from any
direction. But it’s beautiful hike and several other caches on all
routes. Since it’s in the wilderness area, no bikes are allowed.
The cache is a small, camo’ed container located just a few feet
off the trail. As always, be very careful poking around in the
rocks and bushes and always look carefully before reaching into
these areas.

May 25 by erik (6874 found) I had a long wait for a friendly older couple that was training for their bike trip to Tuscany. Found it fine, thanks. Headed on down to Sycamore Cyn and PCH.

[view this log] | November 15, 2008 by GeoCraig (5159 found) This area sure is dry. I hope the fires stay away from the Santa Monica Mountains. Click here (visit link) for my blog entry about the adventure and to view the photos I took along the way.
