Mannes havn

I Mannes havn har det de siste årene vokst frem et kystkultursenter, der flere av husene er flyttet fra andre steder. Dette er bygninger som ellers ville ha gått tapt.

Bygningene i Manneshavn sto opprinnelig i Kopervik(Sjøhus), Åkrehamn(Hus ), Skudesnes("Den gamle jernvaren") og Haugesund. Ett av husene ble demontert og satt opp igjen, mens 4 ble flyttet hele ved hjelp av mobilkran og lasteskip.

The buildings here in Mannes habour are older buildings from Kopervik, Åkrehamn, Skudesnes and Haugesund. These are buildings that normally would have been lost.

One of the buildings was moved in pieces and the last four was moved here by boat.
