A 35mm film canister placed at a excellent view spot.
This spot offers excellent views along the Irwell valley towards Manchester. Unfortunately the bench that was once here has been destroyed but it is still I nice spot to stop and take in the views before exploring the rest of the LIVIA community woodland.
LIVIA
With a variety of paths, trails, cycleways, climbing boulders and play areas, the LIVIA (Lower Irwell Valley Improvement Area) community woodland is an ideal place for all the family to enjoy free outdoor exercise together in a greener, cleaner community area.
The LIVIA community woodland is part of Newlands (New Economic Environments via Woodlands) - a partnership scheme involving the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and the Forestry Commission.
