The Portland Vietnam Memorial's purpose is to reflect and pay tribute to our country and our loved ones. The design of this memorial serves its purpose well. There are no ellaborate sculptures or design elements, but those elements are not needed since the reason people come to a memorial is to pay tribute and be thankful for what they have.
NO BUSHWHACKING NECESSARY. Cache can be reached without leaving the trail. Please be discreet and re-hide the cache VERY carefully so that it does not slip down onto the trail.
The cache container is a rectangular Tupperware-type container about 5x7x2" painted green.
The above coordinates will place you at the entrance to this memorial.
At the memorial site you will need to find the following information: ... a school superintendant retired after ___ years of teaching and could boast that he had never missed a day. This number will equal .0xx
