Superenigmatix Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

briansnat: Went to check on this after the recent floods. When I saw the destruction from the flood in the area and realized that this was under 4 feet of water twice in the past month, I wasn't confident that it would be there, but there it was, sitting among the roots of the tree where I hid it. I have no idea how this didn't wash away.

Anyway I had been thinking about archiving this and needed the container for a new hide, so bye.

Geocache Description:

ound this area when I was here for a soccer game. Explored it for a few minutes then came back with a cache and explored it some more. It's a pleasant walk along the Pequannock River, despite some of the litter along the way and debris in the river.

There are some interesting ruins along the banks, including what looks like part of an old bridge.

This area floods so be sure to tighten the cap. I plan to come back and anchor this so it doesn't wash away.
