Geocache Description:

Inside Eisenhower Park

This park was recently de-cached as a result of the SA Parks Dept's request that all "real" caches be removed.
This park is considered a preserve, and is home to a couple of endangered species--the Golden Cheeked Warbler, and the Black Capped Vireo.
They don't want people off the trails here, and there is no reason to leave the trail for this cache.
The coordinates will take you to a viewing tower, from which you may be able to spot one of the endangered species listed above. You may also be able to spot a Bobwhite Quail, a Rio Grande Turkey, or a White Tailed Deer.
The tower is a great place for birdwatchers to see many types of native species, as well as those that migrate through this area.
Other critters that reside here include armadillos, raccoons, opossums, skunks, and various types of snakes, although you might not see them unless it is early or late in the day.
To receive credit for this cache, email me the answer to the following question--How many steps lead to the top of the tower?
Pets are allowed ONLY if they are on a leash.
Do not leave the trails. Park rangers have been known to escort wayward hikers to the front gate and ask them to leave.
