Part three out of four of the Wendel’s series
The Story
Bruno Wendel worked as plant manager for Gustaf Ferdinand Henning
in his textile factory. The large workload affected his health.
This forced him to live in a recreation spa in Tepliz for medical
treatment and rest. Wendel had constant correspondence with his son
Arthur, and through these letters were the basis for what was to
become the modern infrastructure in Mölnlycke. The roads would
be improved and the railway to Mölnlycke was the ultimate
goal. In December 1894 the railway was opened to everyone's
delight. Bruno Wendel however were not affected by this since he
died in February 1983.
