There are two easy ways to reach Steep Holm one way is from Weston-Super-Mare where a boat run by The Kenneth Allsop Foundation begin Summer trips from April through to October. The contact number for details is 01934-522-125. The second way is by Channel steamer which makes occassional visits departing, Minehead, Barry and Bristol during the summer.
The island is full of interest from the bird life (Spring) to historical sites and it is strongly recommended that 'The Trail Guide' be purchased, costs £1.80 to get the most from your trip. The cache is a plastic container.
