Geocache Description:

A nice hike in the beautiful Little Big Econ area.
The posted coordinates are NOT for the cache, but for the parking area at the Barr Street Trailhead off CR 426. There is a $1 per person user fee collected via the honor system at the trailhead. Hours are sunrise to sunset.

This is a multi cache that requires that you find 5 related caches in the Little Big Econ Forest to gather the necessary coordinates in order to log it.

The other caches in the area that hold information for this cache area
DON'T HAVE A HISSY FIT
TOADALLY AWESOME
JUST BEECAUSE
I SPIED HER IN THE ECON
HOPPIN' MAD!

Once you find these five caches, and collect the information, use the following formula to complete the coordinates.
North 28 AB.CDE West 081 FG.HIJ

The final cache is an ammo box that has some very decent geo-treasures. To help maintain the quality of this cache, please do NOT place non-tradeable items in it. A good rule of thumb for cache trading is to put something in the cache that YOU would like to find!

While you're on the trail, besides doing the caches listed below, don't forget to do Another Bridge Too Far by Jackie & Bob.

The entire trip should take you approximately 3 miles through one of the nicest forests in Florida. Some of my earliest experiences of geocaching involved other caches that are still in the area (Music in the Meadow, Tarzan's Secret Treasure, and River Dance). The Econ Forest has a rich and diverse trail system that incorporates areas for horses, bikes, and hikers. A state of the art bridge was built during the past year and makes a safe crossing of the Econ River, which is the centerpiece for this area. Trails wind along the riverbank in a serpentine fashion, where you will most likely see froggies and spiders and snakes, Oh my! Some other residents that are in abundance are gopher tortoises, alligators, and turtles.
After a month of near record-breaking rains in June, the Econ River is swollen and has reclaimed some of the land that trails used to dominate. Although the land is somewhat saturated right now, I wore ankle high waterproof hiking boots, and the areas that had standing water were below the tops of my boots. There is still plenty of dry trail available, and if you are creative, you could probably sidestep areas of standing water. It's probably a good idea to wear insect repellant, although I didn't use any and only found the mosquitoes to be slightly annoying.
The area has a $1.00 per person user fee that is collected on the honor system at the Barr Street Trailhead parking area. Please do the honorable thing and make sure you leave the fee in the appropriate area. This helps maintain this beautiful forest and hopefully you will appreciate the trails and bridges that are provided here.
