Long Hike in the Wicklas
The Peat Hags left this cache while taking their usual Sunday walk. We hitched our pony trap at the car park at the end of the road that goes up Glenmalure (take the R755 out of Laragh - take the first right, it's signposted for Glenmalure. About 8km later take the right at the crossroads.) but there are lots of other ways to do this.
From there it is about a 3 hour hike to the cache. This is about the most difficult hiking you can get in Wicklow so please take care, check the weather and equip appropriately! It's also some of the most spectacular so enjoy the views.
